Adele draws on various theoretical approaches and incorporates person-centered therapy while working with clients.
By combining therapy approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing and strengths-based perspective, with person-centered therapy while working with clients she is able to ensure a nondirective, empathetic approach that is without judgement.
Adele Gerke, MSW, LSW focused on gaining a better understanding of mental health and effective services during her schooling, then spent a year and a half working in hospice where she gained experience in grief counseling and assessing the mental health and wellness of the clients and their caregivers.
