Nicolle’s therapy approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma informed care, 12-step facilitation and a strengths based empowerment model.

Nicolle Pascarella, MSW, LISW-S has extensive experience in mental health counseling and family intervention. She operates from a person-centered (Rogerian) perspective and believes that every individual has the capacity for growth and change. Nicolle’s academic positions include instructing in the Social Work Department at Youngstown State University and serving as a member of the Critical Incident Stress Management team of Mahoning County. She has spent the majority of her career working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, as well as those on parole and probation. Additional qualifications include advising as a member of Mahoning County Felony Drug Court and Family Dependency Court.

Clinically, Nicolle has spent the majority of her professional career working in community mental health and addiction treatment settings and has provided services to individuals, couples, families, groups and adolescents. She currently specializes in offering therapeutic services in the areas of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, trauma and trauma recovery, women’s issues, substance abuse and addiction.
